Travel plans

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been a little busy working on a new project. I am planning to travel south to a nice quiet island next week and then onto Malaysia. From Malaysia I am planning to go to China to research a Beijing Olympic website I will be working on.

I hadn’t planned on going to China this trip, but I think the Beijing Olympics will be too good of an opportunity not to miss. I just bought the new Lonely Planet guide to China today and I think it is going to be a lot of fun and hopefully profitable as well.

Beach holiday over for now

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

I am back in Bangkok now. It’s crazy as ever. I much prefer to be staying on a nice, peaceful beach.

The last few days on Koh Chang were really nice and I could get a bit of a tan.

Nice day

Much nicer day today, at last. I think I might head out for a swim.

Rainy season in Thailand

Friday, August 10th, 2007

When I first got to Koh Chang the weather was like this. And first the first few days it was great. I wondered why a lot of the shops were shut. More people should visit the island during rainy season, so I thought.

Koh Chang

When the heavens opened up, the scene changed to this. And I am thinking of the poor people who came here for a beach holiday.

Some more pictures of Koh Chang

Here are some more pictures I took on my afternoon walk. As you can see the weather isn’t so great, but at least I could get out a bit more today.

Cleared up finally

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

It has finally stopped raining, at least for now. The water is a bit choppy though for swimming.

I went for a long walk up a mountain which had some great views of the island, but I didn’t take my camera.

I will have to do it all again tomorrow, that is if the rain can hold off.
